Unfortunately in India most area contains arsenic level more than the accepted level, consequently causing cancer, skin diseases, cardiovascular diseases, skin lesions, diabetes etc. Some of the low mineral water or high mineral water/hard water causing diseases are arthritis, weak immune system, cardiovascular problems, stone formations in kidney, and many more.
The ideal drinking water as per WHO, EPA and other scholars should be free from infections/germs & harmful contaminants and must be mineral enriched. The water hardness up to 300 ppm with pH value between 6.5 and 8.5 is acceptable (ideal pH 7.2 to pH 8 is in best range).
